Storyline
Mahesa (Abimana Aryasatya) is a stockbroker who plays by the rules of the exchange, while his best friend, Kevin (Christian Sugiono), a graduate from abroad, prefers to break conventions. Mahesa’s work achievements often earn him praise from Rendra (Pierre Gruno), Kevin’s father and the owner of the largest securities company where they both work. This sparks Kevin’s jealousy. Conflict arises—from work issues, friendship, to a love triangle between Mahesa, Kevin, and Analea (Kamidia Radisti). The tension peaks during a celebration party for Kevin’s new position, when he introduces Analea to his father as his girlfriend. This shocks their friends, including Analea herself—because she is actually in love with Mahesa. However, Mahesa responds coldly, making Analea believe that he doesn’t love her back. Driven by ambition to prove himself to his father, Kevin takes reckless actions that endanger the company. When the situation spirals out of control and his father finds out, Kevin panics. News of Kevin’s wrongdoing eventually reaches Mahesa. Mahesa also faces issues with his own father, Hadi (Slamet Rahardjo), who disapproves of his son’s job. Hadi wants Mahesa to work in line with his education as an architect. Mahesa tries to convince him, even persuading him to invest his money in stocks. Initially resistant, Hadi eventually agrees. However, his lack of understanding of stock trading makes him panic—he falls ill and refuses to see Mahesa. Feeling guilty, Mahesa becomes vulnerable, and Kevin takes advantage of the situation. When Mahesa discovers Kevin’s actions, he becomes furious. Their friendship falls apart.
