Jafar has achievements in the field of reading the Quran. Various achievements were made in several competitions including MTQ. Jafar's success was not supported by his father who thought that MTQ only sold Quranic verses. Money makes a champion. This is based on the experience of Jafar's father when he was young. His father's disapproval made Jafar leave the boarding school. Jafar also experienced cheating in the MTQ competition. This failure was one of the reasons why Jafar's father died. After his father's death, Jafar had to work for a freight forwarding company in Lombok. He passed on his experience and religious knowledge to his fellow employees. He also proposed improvements to the place of worship and conducted religious activities, including reading the Qur'an, during his working hours.
